the Aqueous
The "AQUEOUS" model is an all-around, user-friendly medium-weight log with all the recipes of a classic California cruiser with some added "spunk." Kassia and I have developed The Aqueous to feature more responsiveness built into the shape. Providing access to a new level of control that a lot of female surfers have been missing due to purchasing oversized logs off the rack at shops. This new profile will be easier to maneuver in softer, mushy waves, like San-o, Cardiff, Kamakura, BK Reef, and small to fun-size beach breaks.
Unhinged offers the Aqueous in four stock sizes: 9’1”, 9'3", 9'5", and 9'7". They will come as standard, featuring a single-color lamination on the bottom with a clear deck. The two smaller designs come with a 1/4” darkwood stringer, and the larger options feature a 5/16’ darkwood stringer. Glassing will be 6 oz. Volan x 6 oz. deck and 8 oz. volan bottom with a 6 oz. volan tail patch, and finished as wet sanded gloss. Kassia is currently riding this shape in the following dimensions - 9'5" x 22 7/8" x 2 7'8"
